We chose mares of noble pedigrees, and especially important, from very strong, consistent, top-caliber tail female lines. One thing that never changes, regardless of whatever species of animal one is breeding is the importance of the maternal lines: The females will make or break a breeding program! This characteristic is not necessarily always proven in the showring, but more importantly in the breeding barn.
